Dr. Margarone established Suburban Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates PC in August, 1995 and has been treating patients around the entire Western New York area at this location since that time. The office is conveniently located on Main Street near Transit Road in Williamsville and offers ample patient parking with available handicap parking and handicap access to the office.

Dr. Joseph Margarone III is a third generation dentist and second generation oral surgeon in his family, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, father and uncle.  He graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1987.  Dr. Margarone completed a one year General Dentistry Residency at Buffalo General Hospital and underwent his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at University at Buffalo with completion in June 1992, where he started his private practice.  He then completed a one year Fellowship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Buffalo General Hospital in June 1993. He has been on the Part-time Faculty at University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine since 1990 as Clinical Instructor and since 1992 as Clinical Assistant Professor and is Course Director for two Senior level classes. Dr. Margarone was Board Certified in February 1995 by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and continues to be recertified. He is also certified in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Dr. Margarone regularly attends the national and state oral surgery meetings and obtains continuing education credits in various disciplines of dentistry and medicine.

Dr. Margarone's interests include astronomy, computers, photography, audiophile home theater, science & technology and extensive travel with his wife and two children.
